SprtGenie Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
Effective date: August 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how SprtGenie collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile application, our website, and related online services (together, the “Services”). Read it together with our Terms of Use and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the Services.
SprtGenie is an informational research and analytics tool for people aged 18 and over. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept or place wagers, and we do not hold customer funds for betting.
1. Who We Are
The controller responsible for your personal information is:
EzTechTonic
14621 State Rd 70 E #257
Bradenton, FL 34202, United States
Privacy contact: privacy@sprtgenie.com

Privacy contact: privacy@sprtgenie.com
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account, contact us, or use features of the Services, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number, if you choose to give it to us for text messages or phone calls
- Sports, leagues, and teams you follow, and your display preferences
- Bet history and selections you choose to record in the app, so we can show you your own performance over time
- A profile picture, if you choose to set one. The app asks for access to your photo library only for this, and only when you pick an image
- Anything you write to us through the Contact Us form: your name, your email address, and your message
We do not collect or store your payment card number. See section 18 for how billing works.
2.2 Camera, Photos, and Video (SnapTap)
SnapTap is our match-recognition feature. When you use it, the app accesses your device camera in order to capture:
- a still photo of the game or screen you point the camera at, and
- an optional video clip of up to five seconds
Why we collect it. The capture is used for one purpose: to identify the match, the teams, the league, and the current game state so we can return predictions, odds, confidence, and risk information.
Where it goes. The capture is uploaded from your device to our media service and is read by Google Cloud Vision, which detects the text and logos visible in the image — the score, the period, the teams. Google Cloud Vision may process it in any of Google's data centres. Only the extracted text is then sent to our prediction models at xAI (Grok) and OpenAI (GPT), without your name, email address, or any other account identifier. Your photo and video are never sent to xAI or to OpenAI.
How long we keep it. Photos and video clips captured through SnapTap are retained for six months, after which they are deleted. The recognition result derived from a capture (for example, the identified match) may be retained for longer as described in section 9.
Training. SnapTap captures are not used to train or improve any SprtGenie model. We do not train a recognition model of our own: the image is read by Google Cloud Vision, and the prediction models only ever receive the text taken from it.
Other people in frame. Please point the camera at the game, screen, or scoreboard, and avoid capturing other people where you can. If a bystander appears in a capture, we use the material only to identify the match, we do not apply facial recognition to it, we do not use it to build a profile of anyone, and it is deleted on the schedule above. If you believe you appear in someone else’s capture, contact privacy@sprtgenie.com. You can revoke camera access at any time in your device settings; SnapTap will stop working, but the rest of the app will continue to function.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
Through your browser, device, or use of the app, we may collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device identifier, model, and operating system
- Screens viewed, features used, and time spent in the app
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Precise location, only if you grant the permission (see section 14)
- Diagnostic and crash information
2.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
On our website we use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to measure how it is used, and to advertise. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent to them. For the full list of cookies, their purpose, their lifetime, and whether they are first or third party, see our Cookie Policy, where you can also change your choice at any time.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and administer your account
- Identify a match from a SnapTap capture and generate predictions, suggested picks, probabilities, confidence, and risk scores
- Retrieve and display odds and lines from sportsbooks and data providers
- Show you the bet history you have recorded and summarize your own results
- Personalize which sports, leagues, and content you see
- Respond to support requests and investigate technical problems
- Manage subscriptions and verify entitlements
- Send you service messages, and — where you have opted in — marketing emails, text messages, and phone calls
- Measure and improve the accuracy of our models and the Services
- Advertise the Services, including through cross-context behavioral advertising as described in section 7
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, providing predictions and odds | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Accessing the camera for SnapTap, and processing the resulting photo and video | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given through the device permission prompt |
| Non-essential cookies, analytics, and advertising | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Marketing emails, text messages, and phone calls | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Billing, subscription management, and record keeping | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and model accuracy measurement | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Responding to legal requests and defending legal claims | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
5. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
Our predictions, probabilities, confidence scores, and risk scores are produced by statistical and machine-learning models without a human reviewing each result. We also use automated processing to identify a match from a SnapTap capture, and to decide which content and offers to show you.
These outputs are informational only. They are not a decision about you, they do not determine your access to the Services or to credit, employment, insurance, or any other benefit, and they do not produce legal effects concerning you. No outcome of any sporting event or wager is guaranteed. You remain solely responsible for any decision you make. If you are in the EEA or the UK and want human input into an automated output, contact privacy@sprtgenie.com.
6. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information with the following categories of recipients, who may process it only on our instructions or as required by law:
| Category of recipient | What they receive | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud hosting and storage | Account data, SnapTap media, usage and diagnostic data, server logs | Amazon Web Services (AWS), US East region |
| Image recognition | SnapTap photos and video frames | Google Cloud Vision (Google) |
| AI prediction models | Only the text extracted from a capture — score, period, team names — together with match context. No images or video are sent to these providers, and no account identifiers are included in the request. | xAI (Grok), OpenAI (GPT) |
| Crash and error reporting | Diagnostic data captured when the app fails: device model, operating system and app version, and what the app was doing at the time | Sentry |
| Sign-in | The sign-in request and the account you choose to sign in with | Google (Google Sign-In) |
| Push notifications | The push token your device is issued | Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) |
| App stores and payment processing | Subscription status and transaction identifiers | Apple, Google |
| Analytics | Usage events, device and approximate location data, identifiers | Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on the website, Firebase Analytics in the app |
| Advertising and measurement | Online identifiers, cookie data, advertising identifiers | Google Ads, on this website only. The mobile app contains no advertising or attribution SDKs. |
| Email and SMS delivery | Name, email address, phone number, consent record | Pipedrive (email), Twilio (text messages and calls) |
| Contact forms and consent records | Name, email address, phone number, your message, and the consent record with its timestamp and IP address | Google Workspace (Google Sheets) |
| Odds and sports data providers | Match and market queries; no account identifiers are sent unless necessary | SportsGameOdds |
| Professional advisers and authorities | Only what is necessary for the specific matter | Lawyers, auditors, regulators, law enforcement |
We may also disclose information to comply with a court order, subpoena, or other legal process, to investigate fraud or a violation of our Terms, to protect the rights and safety of users or the public, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
7. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information for Advertising
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, we do share personal information — such as online identifiers, cookie data, and advertising identifiers — with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and under similar laws in other states, that disclosure counts as “sharing,” and in some states it may also fall within the broad statutory definition of a “sale” even though we receive no money for it. We are telling you this plainly so there is no ambiguity.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18. The Services are restricted to adults.
You can opt out at any time:
- Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, which is also linked in the footer of every page.
- Reject advertising cookies in our Cookie Policy preferences.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser or extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing and act on it automatically, without asking you to confirm.
8. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and our servers are hosted there. Your information may also be processed by the providers named in section 6, including Google Cloud Vision, which reads SnapTap images in Google's global infrastructure rather than in a region we pin. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, this means your personal information may be transferred outside your country to a jurisdiction that may not provide the same level of protection.
Where we make such a transfer, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable, and appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. You can request a copy of the relevant transfer mechanism by emailing privacy@sprtgenie.com.
9. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy, and then delete or de-identify it:
| Category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account profile (name, email, preferences) | Life of the account, then deleted immediately when you delete the account |
| SnapTap photos and video clips | Six months from capture |
| Match recognition results and prediction history | Life of the account, then deleted with the account |
| Bet history you recorded in the app | Life of the account, then deleted with the account |
| Phone number and SMS or call consent records | For as long as consent is active and at least four years after it is withdrawn, to evidence compliance with telemarketing rules |
| Messages sent through the Contact Us form | For as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange |
| Server logs, IP addresses, diagnostic data | Six months |
| Subscription and transaction records | Seven years, to meet tax and accounting obligations |
| Aggregated and de-identified analytics | Indefinitely, because it can no longer be linked to an individual |
You can delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing privacy@sprtgenie.com. We may keep limited information after deletion where the law requires it or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
- Access a copy of that information
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your information
- Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format, and have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including profiling
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for advertising
- Opt out of targeted advertising and of certain automated decision-making
- Withdraw consent you previously gave
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, and, in the EEA or UK, with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or workplace
10.1 How to Submit a Request
You can delete your account yourself in the app, without asking us: open Profile, then Edit profile, then Delete account, and confirm.
For anything else, email privacy@sprtgenie.com or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for advertising opt-outs. Please tell us which right you want to exercise.
- Acknowledgement and response. We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you within that period and may extend once by a further 45 days. For requests under the GDPR or UK GDPR we respond within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests.
- Identity verification. To protect your information, we verify your identity before acting. Usually this means confirming control of the email address or phone number on the account. We may ask for additional information if the request concerns sensitive data, and we use anything you send only to verify the request.
- Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your own identity directly.
- Appeals. If we decline your request, we will explain why. You may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@sprtgenie.com with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to an appeal within 45 days and, if we again decline, tell you how to contact your state attorney general or supervisory authority.
- No discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
- Cost. Requests are free. We may charge a reasonable fee, or refuse to act, only if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, and we will explain our reasoning if that happens.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit over HTTPS, encryption of stored data, role-based access controls, least-privilege access for staff, secure cloud storage, logging and anomaly detection, and session timeouts.
No system is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password, do not share your login credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
12. If There Is a Data Breach
We maintain an incident response process covering detection, containment, investigation, and notification. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay and, where required, no later than 72 hours after we become aware of it for individuals protected by the GDPR or UK GDPR, and within the deadlines set by applicable US state breach notification laws. We will also notify the relevant supervisory authorities and state regulators where the law requires it.
Our notice will describe what happened, the categories of information involved, the likely consequences, the steps we have taken, and what you can do to protect yourself. We will send it to the email address on your account and, where required or where email is not possible, by other means such as a notice on this website.
13. Age Restriction
The Services are for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or older if that is the legal age for sports wagering where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will close the account and delete the information. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact privacy@sprtgenie.com.
14. Location Information
We derive an approximate location from your IP address to apply regional restrictions and show relevant markets. If you grant the permission, we may also use your device’s precise location to show local events and regional content. You can withdraw that permission at any time in your device privacy settings without losing access to the rest of the Services.
15. Analytics and Advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how the Services are used, and Google Ads, including remarketing, to promote them. On our website these tools load only after you consent to analytics or advertising cookies, and we pass your choice to Google using Consent Mode. You can also opt out directly:
Information collected by Google is also governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
16. Affiliate Links and Social Media
Some links to sportsbooks and other partners on our website and in our app are advertising or affiliate links, and we may be paid if you sign up or deposit through them. Following such a link takes you to a third party that collects your information under its own privacy policy. SprtGenie is not a sportsbook and does not accept wagers.
We maintain pages on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. If you interact with us there, those platforms process your information under their own policies. No social login is required to use the Services.
17. Aggregated and De-Identified Information
We aggregate and de-identify usage and performance data — for example prediction accuracy rates and feature adoption — for analytics, model evaluation, service improvement, and market research. We maintain these datasets in a form that cannot reasonably be linked back to an individual, and we do not attempt to re-identify them.
18. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Paid subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores process your payment, and SprtGenie never receives or stores your full payment card number or bank details. We receive the subscription status and a transaction identifier so we can unlock paid features.
- Apple users. Purchases are subject to Apple’s policies and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed in your Apple ID account settings.
- Google Play users. Purchases are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed in your Google Play account settings.
Subscriptions cannot be bought on this website. Every subscription is purchased inside the app through the App Store or Google Play, and those stores handle the payment and the billing data. We never receive your card number.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and record the change in the history below. If the change materially affects how we handle your personal information, we will give you notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.

Change History
- August 20, 2026 — Corrected the SnapTap description against the code: removed audio capture, which the feature does not perform; named Google Cloud Vision as the only recipient of the image; stated that the prediction models receive extracted text without account identifiers; and named the push, form, and consent-record recipients. Filled in the retention periods for SnapTap media, server logs, prediction history, and account deletion.
- August 19, 2026 — Separated the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookie Policy into their own pages. Added disclosures for SnapTap camera, photo, video, and audio capture. Added GDPR legal bases, international transfers, and automated decision-making. Disclosed sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising and added a Do Not Sell or Share page. Listed categories of recipients and per-category retention periods. Clarified that billing is handled by Apple and Google. Added breach notification and rights-request procedures, and a dedicated privacy contact address. Removed content that did not describe this service.
- August 14, 2025 — Initial combined Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
