Delete Your SprtGenie Account

You can delete your SprtGenie account at any time, either yourself in the app or by asking us by email. This page explains both ways, what happens to your data, and what you need to do about a paid subscription.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open the SprtGenie app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile, then Edit profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
2. Ask us to delete it by email
If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. To protect your account, we verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming you control that email address. How and when we respond is described in section 10.1 of our Privacy Policy.
3. What is deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, preferences), immediately
- Your match recognition results and prediction history
- The bet history you recorded in the app
4. What we keep, and for how long
Some records are kept on their own schedule, as set out in section 9 of our Privacy Policy:
- SnapTap photos and video clips: six months from capture
- Phone number and SMS or call consent records: for as long as consent is active and at least four years after it is withdrawn, to evidence compliance with telemarketing rules
- Messages sent through the Contact Us form: for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange
- Server logs, IP addresses and diagnostic data: six months
- Subscription and transaction records: seven years, for tax and accounting
- Aggregated and de-identified analytics: indefinitely, because they can no longer be linked to you
We may also keep limited information after deletion where the law requires it or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
5. Cancel your subscription separately
Subscriptions are sold and billed by the Apple App Store and Google Play, not by SprtGenie, and they renew automatically until you cancel them in the store. Deleting your SprtGenie account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it yourself:
- iPhone or iPad: in your Apple ID account settings (Settings, your name, Subscriptions).
- Android: in your Google Play account settings (Play Store, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions).
